About this role

What you should know about us

Everllence enables its customers to achieve sustainable value creation in the transition towards a carbon neutral future. Addressing tomorrow’s challenges within the marine, energy and industrial sectors, we improve efficiency and performance at a systemic level. Leading the way in advanced engineering for more than 250 years, we provide a unique portfolio of technologies. Headquartered in Germany, Everllence employs some 15,000 people at over 120 sites globally. Our after-sales brand, Everllence PrimeServ, offers a vast network of service centres to our customers all over the world.

We can offer you the following tasks

  • You will carry out CHT simulations to determine temperature distributions in relevant areas of the turbine wheels for different operating points
  • You will develop a robust CHT process—from model setup and meshing to steady-state and transient simulations, all the way through to evaluation of the results
  • You will analyze and structure the results of the CHT calculations and compare them with measurement data from transient and steady-state temperature field measurements using thermocouples in selected areas of radial turbine wheels

You can help us with these qualifications

  • You are studying mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable degree program (Bachelor’s/Master’s)
  • You have basic knowledge of heat transfer
  • You have initial experience with numerical simulation, ideally in the fields of CFD or CHT
  • Basic knowledge of turbomachinery is an advantage

Your professional home

Everllence headquarters in Augsburg were once the setting for the invention of the diesel engine, with which Rudolf Diesel declared war on the steam engine. Today, our primary mission is to overcome the challenges faced by the marine, energy and industrial sectors – not only to ensure our customers’ success, but also to preserve our environment. From small increases in the efficiency of individual components, such as dual-fuel engines, exhaust gas treatment systems or software solutions, to major innovations at system level – every day, around 5,000 employees work at our site in the beautiful renaissance city of Augsburg to create a better future. You too can help us do that. We are the employer for you if you want to make a difference.

That is important to us

Integrity and Compliance are essential elements of our corporate culture. We firmly support diversity and equal opportunities and are therefore looking forward to receiving a diverse range of applications. Just click on “Apply now” and start your career with us.
