Job Description

Recruitment & Staffing

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, interviews, hiring, and onboarding processes.

  • Collaborate with department heads and school principals to assess staffing requirements and ensure the timely placement of qualified candidates.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the primary contact for employee concerns, fostering open communication and addressing grievances effectively.

  • Championing a positive workplace culture by promoting inclusivity and employee well-being.

  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and improve retention.

Performance Management

  • Oversee the implementation of the staff performance review process, supporting managers in conducting evaluations.

  • Collaborate with department leaders and school principals to establish clear job expectations and objectives for employees.

  • Develop strategies to boost productivity while supporting employee growth and career development.

Training & Development

  • Design and deliver training programs, including new hire orientation, skill-building, and compliance training.

  • Work closely with department heads and school principals to identify and address training needs.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend adjustments to improve outcomes.

Policy Development & Compliance

  • Draft and enforce HR policies aligned with labour laws and industry standards.

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements regarding employee rights, workplace safety, and confidentiality.

  • Conduct regular audits and work with management to maintain adherence to local regulations.

Compensation & Benefits Administration

  • Manage payroll processes, benefits administration, and employee incentive programs.

  • Perform market benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.

  • Address payroll and benefits-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Manage SSO, private teacher funds and income tax submissions.

Health, Safety & Well-being

  • Promote workplace safety by implementing health and safety policies and conducting relevant training sessions.

  • Collaborate with management to manage occupational health concerns and oversee wellness programs.

  • Handle workplace accidents or incidents in compliance with health and safety regulations.

HR Reporting & Strategy

  • Prepare and present HR reports, such as turnover rates, recruitment metrics, and training outcomes, for management.

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with organisational goals and drive operational efficiency.

  • Monitor and manage HR budgets, recommending adjustments as necessary.

Your Roles and Responsibilities in Administration:

Management of all general administrative works in Thailand, including but not limited to:

  • Sourcing and liaising with vendors, professional services firms and financial institutions.

  • All other administrative duties as and when required.

Qualifications:

  • At least possess Bachelor Degree in related fields.

  • Strong passion for people engagement, with a keen interest in Education

  • Open-minded to new challenges with the ability to think out of the box

  • Collaborative and an enabler

  • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience

  • Strong HR knowledge honed through experience in various key HR functions

  • Experience leading teams

  • Experience in HR business partnering with a strong understanding of the HR rules & regulations and administrative requirements of Thailand
