About the Role
The Stock Allocation Specialist is responsible for optimizing inventory distribution, ensuring efficient stock allocation to meet demand and minimize shortages, ultimately enhancing overall supply chain efficiency. Ensures excellence in service level order completion.
The ideal candidate should/could live in the Oakville, ON area.

What You Will Do (Main Responsibilities)
Proactive Stock Allocation
Identifies and analyzes short term out of stock issues (6 weeks)
Manages mitigation actions related to short term issues in coordination with Demand and Supply Planning as well as Supply Service; influence stock availability and maximize sales through effective supply chain opportunities
Responsible for effective set up of stock allocation rules in alignment with Supply and Demand Planning and Sales. Includes the application of prioritization strategy, alternative plants/SKUs, product allocations
Proactively communicate with Customer Facing when a contact with the Customer is required
Daily Stock Allocation - Assist with development and run customer-specific stock allocation based on defined rules and principles
Ensure order quantities are confirmed according to priorities and customer deliveries are generated
Proactive monitoring of product availability development vs. expectations and related communication to improve customer satisfaction; ambassador for customer integrity
Who You Are (Required Experience & Competencies)
Knowledge in Logistics operations especially in Customer Service, Customer Logistics and replenishment Supply Planning
Commercial oriented
Analytical skills and strong administrative skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Problem solving acumen
Focus on speed, quality and efficiency with right first-time ethos
Ability to work with cross functional teams
Customer-focused; customer service skills
Written and oral communication skills
English Language skills are a must
