About the Role

In the Category Team of the Business Unit Consumer Tissue we are looking for a Senior Global Brand Innovation Manager to shape, lead and deliver an ambitious growth agenda for our Moist Toilet Tissue category. The position will report to the Global Brand Director - Hankies, Facials, Moist & Open Innovation.

In this role you will be responsible to manage the business from an end-to-end perspective including defining the long-term category strategy and innovation roadmap, portfolio architecture, assortment strategy, product quality targets, pricing strategy and manage the innovation pipeline through defining innovation concepts and leading them through all stages of the funnel from idea generation and concept development to validation, commercialization and initial market launch.

As a leader of innovation initiatives you will cooperate closely with the Insights, Strategy, R&D, Masterbrand & Comms, Local Marketing, Customer Marketing, Legal, IP and Procurement teams to deliver innovations that create value across the full value-chain and drive company sales and profit targets.

What You Will Do

  • Shape and execute the long-term moist toilet tissue category strategy, innovation roadmap, portfolio and assortment strategy.

  • Identify innovation opportunity areas, category development paths and competitive gaps to guide future growth.

  • Lead and deliver major global innovation projects, defining Jobs-to-be-done, concept, product brief, acceptance criteria and project plans to launch.

  • Build consumer insights through market research and validate concepts with superiority claims

  • Develop and validate business cases, financial models, budget and KPIs.

  • Manage the cross-functional Moist Team (R&D, Material Development, Packaging, Procurement), project teams, suppliers and coordinate stakeholders

  • Deliver packaging design, marketing launch toolkits, handover materials and launch excellence support in collaboration with Brand Comms

  • Own risk management, legal clearance, claim substantiation, claims bank maintenance and regulatory-related project requirements

  • Maintain project governance, documentation and communication through project management tools and forums

  • Drive post-launch reviews and continuous improvement learnings

Who You Are

  • University degree in marketing, business administration or a related field

  • 7–10 years of proven successful experience in brand innovation and marketing, FMCG experience is a plus

  • Foster a strong passion for innovation and creativity that is rooted into superior understanding of consumers, customers and shoppers

  • Ability to connect strategy with operational execution and value creation

  • Strong knowledge and application of marketing frameworks and processes, including the 7Ps, Jobs-to-be-done, brand positioning, innovation and design thinking, portfolio architecture and marketing mix

  • Analytical and commercially driven with strong business acumen and ability to turn insights and analytics into high-impact decisions, P&L understanding is a plus

  • Exceptional project leadership skills with bias for action, ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize tight deadlines, entrepreneurial mindset

  • Strong communication skills in English (German, French, Spanish is a plus) with ability to influence, motivate and collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders
