Summary
We’re looking for a motivated Junior Application Security Administrator who wants to grow in the field of Application Security.Job description
In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience with AppSec processes and tooling, including Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure (CVD), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and vulnerability management. You’ll work closely with our Application Security, Development and other Internal Security teams.
Our new colleague will be responsible for the following:
Support CVD and vulnerability management processes, including vulnerability intake, tracking, coordination and follow-up
Support day-to-day SCA operations, including reviewing findings, monitoring vulnerable dependencies and assisting with remediation tracking
Support SAST operations and assist with initial review and triage of security findings
Assist with administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of Application Security tools and processes
Support vulnerability triage, documentation and coordination with development teams
Maintain and update internal AppSec documentation, procedures and knowledge base content
Support reporting and tracking of security findings and remediation activities
Collaborate with Application Security, Development, IT and other Internal Security teams
Job requirements:
Education in IT, cybersecurity or another technical field
Basic understanding of software development and application security concepts
Basic programming or scripting skills
Interest in cybersecurity, particularly Application Security
Analytical and process-oriented mindset
Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good communication and collaboration skills
Basic knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Bash is an advantage
Familiarity with SAST, SCA, CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability management or security tooling is an advantage
Basic wage component (brutto): from 850 EUR monthly (for part-time)
Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 10% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (normally 6 months).
The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate
