EY is looking for talented professionals with experience in Insurance, Banking, and Wealth & Asset Management to join our Special Project Team — a uniquely focused, offshore audit practice supporting EY teams around the world.

In this role, you will:
• Lead or be part of a global audit engagement team - virtually - working with EY teams in Europe and US sub-regions
• Work with world-class audit tools and proprietary EY technology platforms applying the globally accepted audit methodology

  • Get an in-depth understanding of the financial services industry and be trained by experts in the field
    • Work full time from the comfort of your home based in Sri Lanka
    • Gain opportunities for short-term/long-term secondments or permanent relocation to offshore EY offices, if you’re a high performer

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Performing complex and specific audit procedures, while developing effective, client-focused audit strategies
• Plan, conduct and manage audit and assurance engagements in accordance with relevant international accounting and auditing 
standards
• Proactively building relationships that support our ability to provide tailored services that meet a wide range of assurance needs and contribute to new business development
• Prioritize and handle multiple assignments in challenging environments

 

Skills and Attributes for Success:
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in audit and assurance services, having used audit software applications

  • A passion for delivering exceptional client service
