Responsibilities
- Coordinates directly with the Director of GSE in developing and administering programs, procedures and budgets concerning equipment parts programs for all equipment, in designated maintenance and third party stations
- Creates, maintains and manages companywide GSE fleet parts and materials program to include obsolescence, stocking levels, cross references and supply chain management and recommended spare parts lists administration for equipment no longer supported by manufacturers
- Oversight and support of Envoy contract locations as assigned
- Coordinates with single source parts suppliers in hubs to support need or determine where it may be necessary to manage specific parts separate from single source inventory
- Coordinates and ensures appropriate stocking levels and part classifications within the Envoy GSE parts and materials network, as support for hub maintenance shop leadership
- Partners with all equipment manufacturers to be aware of equipment warranty issues/recalls relating to parts failures; support implementation of engineering orders
- Develops and maintains policy and procedures as it relates to GSE parts, materials andrefurbishment/refresh program
- Works directly with GSE buyer on large parts purchases for GSE campaigns and programs
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience or training
- 5 years experience in ensuring new/repaired/overhauled equipment components and parts meet standards
- 5 years experience with equipment vendors, customer service, and station employees
- 5 years experience with analytical cost justification for equipment replacements
- Experience in database administration
- 5 years experience in selecting and leading employees
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance, or related field
- Experience in data analysis & budgeting
- Experience in current fleet management software, Fleet Focus
- 5 years’ experience in creating standards and specifications for parts
