Position Summary

Entegris is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineering Intern to support the Customer Quality Engineering (CQE) team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality systems, semiconductor materials, statistical process control (SPC), and data-driven quality improvement activities.

The intern will assist with Certificate of Analysis (CoA) management, Change Request (CR) system administration, and quality data analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

Certificate of Analysis (CoA) Management

  • Create, review, and maintain product Certificate of Analysis (CoA) documentation.

  • Support CoA registration and document control activities within internal systems.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of product quality records.

Change Request (CR) Administration

  • Support Change Request (CR) creation, tracking, and system maintenance.

  • Monitor CR status and assist with documentation updates.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of required actions.

SPC & Quality Data Analysis Support

  • Collect, organize, and maintain SPC and quality performance data.

  • Support statistical analysis and preparation of quality reports.

  • Assist in trend analysis, process capability monitoring, and data visualization.

  • Generate dashboards, charts, and presentation materials for management reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in:

  • Chemical Engineering

  • Materials Science

  • Chemistry

  • Semiconductor Engineering

  • Industrial Engineering

  • Statistics or related technical fields

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of semiconductor materials and semiconductor manufacturing processes.

  • Understanding of quality tools and methodologies such as:

  • SPC (Statistical Process Control)

  • Basic Statistical Analysis

  • Root Cause Analysis

  • Data Visualization

  • Experience with Minitab, JMP, Power BI, Python, or similar data analysis tools.

  • Previous internship, laboratory, or project experience related to quality, manufacturing, or semiconductor industries.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates meeting the following criteria will be given priority consideration:

  • Availability to work for 6 months or longer.

  • Academic background or project experience related to semiconductor materials and semiconductor manufacturing processes.

  • Strong interest in Quality Engineering, Data Analytics, and Continuous Improvement.
