Position Overview: Enspire Consulting Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Educational Services team on a part-time basis. This position provides an opportunity to work directly with K-12 students in a school setting, delivering physical therapy services and conducting comprehensive evaluations that support students’ access to and participation in their educational environment.
The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students improve mobility, functional independence, motor development, and physical access to learning opportunities. This role offers a balanced caseload consisting of both direct therapy services and evaluations, allowing clinicians to utilize their full range of professional skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Physical Therapy Services:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve student mobility, functional performance, participation, and access within the educational environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
Evaluations & Assessments:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
- Administer and interpret appropriate assessment tools and measures
- Analyze student physical, motor, and functional abilities within the educational setting
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports that include educationally relevant recommendations
- Present findings and recommendations to multidisciplinary teams and families
Consultation & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education teams, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, school psychologists, and other service providers
- Provide consultation regarding adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, mobility needs, and student accommodations
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Professional Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, district, and organizational requirements
- Maintain professional licensure, certifications, and required clearances
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of physical therapy practices
Physical Requirements:
The individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, including:
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and sitting for extended periods
- Demonstrating and assisting with therapeutic exercises and mobility activities
- Lifting, positioning, transferring, or supporting students as appropriate within professional practice guidelines
- Operating computers and other office equipment for documentation purposes
- Communicating effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Traveling to assigned school locations as needed
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License
- Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable transportation
Required Clearances:
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151) - current within one year
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34) - current within one year
- Federal Criminal History Record Information (FBI Fingerprinting)
- Pennsylvania Arrest/ Conviction Report and Certification Form (Act 24)
- Professional Liability Insurance or willingness to obtain coverage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Experience conducting educationally relevant physical therapy evaluations
- Knowledge of special education regulations and IEP processes
- Experience supporting students with orthopedic impairments, neurological conditions, developmental delays, and mobility challenges
