The Role and Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Bids and Proposals Coordinator to join our Commercial team here at EnerMech in Aberdeen. This role is an integral role of the Bids & Proposals team and is responsible for playing a key role in organising the production and delivery of compelling submissions across all stages of the bidding process in alignment with business development.

Main duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Act as the custodian for bid production ensuring all steps are met prior to the submission of the any proposal including; review of bid requests to understand requirements, addressing and clarifications required, assigning tasks to team, monitor bid progress etc.
  • Work with Bid and Proposals Manager and BD Team to allow forward planning based on the expected volume of bids to be received
  • Assisting contracts team with contract handover and compilation of necessary information
  • Lead the bid coordination team across all stages of the bidding process
  • Ensure that all bids are constructed using industry leading narrative to provide a compelling argument for award
  • Build relationships with suppliers to ensure quotations are provided as and when required
  • Take ownership of the customer feedback process, collating responses and presenting quantitative and qualitative findings with recommendations for improvement

The Requirements
To be successful in this position you will be a highly organised individual and hold previous experience coordinating multiple task streams, whilst interfacing with different personalities across a business.

Is is essential you have previous experience in a bidding, proposals or commercial work winning role and have strong commercial awareness.

It is preferred you hold strong document writing skills and have a proven track record of short turnaround deadlines.
