EnerMech is seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Project Engineer to join our Lifting Solutions team in Trinidad & Tobago. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of onshore and offshore projects within the energy sector.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will assist in the successful execution of projects from initial enquiry through final closeout, gaining exposure to project planning, engineering coordination, cost control, client management, and field operations.

Job Description:

  • Support the safe and efficient delivery of assigned projects, ensuring schedules and deliverables are achieved.
  • Assist with project engineering activities from project kick-off through to completion and final account.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
  • Participate in onshore and offshore site visits and surveys as required.
  • Assist in leading site activities and work scopes under the guidance of senior personnel.
  • Support procurement activities and prepare purchase requisitions.
  • Monitor project progress and assist with cost tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure materials, equipment, and personnel are mobilized on time and fit for purpose.
  • Assist with project change management and documentation of scope variations.
  • Identify project risks and communicate them effectively to project stakeholders.
  • Deliver pre-job briefings for assigned activities.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company and client requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including: Cost estimates, tenders Project plans and scheduleing Method statements and execution plans Closeout and certification documentation
  • Strong desire to develop a career in project engineering and the energy industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Mechatronics Engineering
    • Or another relevant engineering discipline.
Preferred
  • Internship or industrial placement experience within engineering, construction, energy, or industrial services.
  • Exposure to project coordination or multi-disciplinary engineering environments.
  • Knowledge of offshore operations is advantageous.
