About this role
Material Planner (MPE)
Ensuring an efficient, timely and cost-effective supply of materials through integrated demand, forecast and stock planning across defined product groups and material numbers.
Responsibilitie
- Responsibility for demand, forecast, and inventory planning across multiple planning horizons
- Execution of operational material planning and purchasing processes including cross-plant coordination
- Adjustment and management of purchase orders in response to demand changes or supply chain disruptions
- Proactive inventory, bottleneck, and escalation management to ensure material availability
- Monitoring and optimization of inventory levels
- Order tracking and ensuring OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery performance and adherence to delivery schedules
- Proactive supplier communication and involvement in forecast and capacity planning processes
- Support in building and strengthening a structured supplier management framework
- Responsibility for order processing, invoice verification, and monitoring of relevant end-to-end processes
- Handling and follow-up of quality notifications
- Maintenance and optimization of master data and planning parameters across various systems
- Identification and implementation of process improvements within planning and supply chain operations
Collaboration & Interfaces
- Close collaboration with production, logistics, quality, procurement, IT, and finance/accounting
- Active participation in cross-functional and, where applicable, global teams
- Alignment with internal stakeholders to ensure a high level of service performance
Requirements Profile
Professional Qualifications:
- Completed commercial training (e.g., in business administration) or a comparable qualification
- Experience in material planning, scheduling, or supply chain management is an advantage
- Good English language skills (written and spoken)

- Structured and forward-thinking working style
- High level of responsibility and strong affinity for numbers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
