 Information & Influence / Information Operations SME (1099 Independent Consultant role)

Endurion is looking for a qualified person to support our multi-year contract with the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) mission in support of USSOCOM to deliver recurring, interim instruction. 


Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Location: Episodic courses to be taught in locations worldwide.

Supported Course Family: This SME pool supports courses such as:

  • Information & Influence Planner's Boot Camp – Level 1
  • Information & Influence Applications Seminar – Level 2
  • Executive Information & Influence Seminar – Level 3

 Position Summary

Endurion seeks experienced Information Operations, Information Advantage, Military Information Support Operations, influence, strategic communication, or related practitioners capable of instructing and facilitating JSOU Information & Influence education for tactical through executive-level international audiences. The SME must be able to move beyond theoretical Information Operations concepts and explain how information is incorporated into military decision-making, operational design, planning, targeting, influence, and assessment

  • Influence planning methodologies and information-related capabilities.
  • Joint operational planning and staff integration.
  • Psychological, cultural, and behavioral considerations affecting influence.
  • Strategic communication and narrative development.
  • Propaganda, misinformation, disinformation, and information manipulation.

Skills

  • Conducting or teaching target audience analysis.
  • Developing information objectives, themes, messages, and effects.
  • Integrating information into operational plans and orders.
  • Facilitating COA development and wargaming.
  • Teaching senior leaders how to provide guidance for information activities.
  • Explaining complex information concepts to multinational audiences.

 Highly Desired Background

  • Former or current Information Operations Officer.
  • PSYOP/MISO practitioner.
  • Information Advantage practitioner.
  • Joint or Combatant Command information planner.
  • SOF information operations experience.
  • Joint Staff, TSOC, USSOCOM, component command, or equivalent planning experience.
  • Experience advising O-5/O-6/GO/FO-level leaders.
  • Experience working with foreign military partners.
