In this hands-on position, you will support essential infrastructure by ensuring electrical and instrumentation systems operate efficiently, responding to emergencies, and contributing to continuous improvement across our facilities. What you will do:

  • Adhere with all Company Policies and ensure that work is performed in compliance with company Operating and Maintenance (O&M) procedure requirements.

  • Complete and stay current with all required safety and technical training.

  • Maintain, repair and troubleshoot our pipeline systems electrical equipment including substation equipment, medium voltage switchgear, motor control centers, communication networks and instrumentation systems.

  • Coordinate with Supervisors, Planners, Schedulers, other Technicians and other stakeholders as required to plan, schedule, and finish the work safely and efficiently.

  • Use work management software to document maintenance work, maintain facility records and update drawings as required.

  • Maintain facilities for cleanliness, safety and security.

Who you are:

  • Journeyperson Electrical with interprovincial certification with minimum of 2 years of related industrial experience.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with above average analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a driver’s abstract check prior to hire.

  • Undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored medical and drug testing.

Working Conditions:

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday 40hr work week with a scheduled 24/7 on-call rotation. Emergency response and overtime as required.

  • This position requires climbing, bending, lifting, standing and crouching on a repetitive basis.

  • Daily travel required within the area. Occasional travel within Canada.

  • Mix of office and field environment.

  • Working in hazardous or restricted locations such as pump rooms, confined spaces, tank lots, and classified areas within.
