In this role, you will support global project execution by leading strategic sourcing and procurement activities for third-party goods and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver value-driven sourcing solutions, manage procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle, and help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and risk management. This position offers the opportunity to influence business outcomes, strengthen supplier partnerships, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across a global organization.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead sourcing activities for project-related materials, equipment, and services supporting project execution across global operations.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with project requirements, business objectives, and procurement priorities.
- Conduct supplier sourcing events, including requests for information, quotations, and proposals, while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements.
- Evaluate supplier proposals using commercial, operational, and total cost of ownership criteria to support informed sourcing decisions.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, service levels, warranties, and commercial agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, supplier consolidation, value improvement, and process enhancements.
- Manage procurement activities throughout the procure-to-pay lifecycle for assigned projects.
- Create, administer, and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and change orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor supplier performance and proactively address potential risks that may impact project schedules or business objectives.
- Partner closely with project management, engineering, operations, logistics, finance, quality, and legal teams to support successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships that support operational excellence, supply continuity, and long-term business success.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, capacity, quality performance, and commercial competitiveness.
- Support supplier development initiatives and contribute to performance improvement activities when needed.
- Communicate procurement progress, risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans effectively to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Emerson policies, ethical business practices, trade regulations, and delegated authority requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement data within enterprise systems and support reporting, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, International Commerce,
- Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, project procurement, or a related business function.
- Experience managing supplier sourcing activities and supporting commercial negotiations.
- Experience supporting procurement activities within project-based or customer-driven environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar platforms.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

- Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience supporting global procurement activities across multiple regions or business units.
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management, and total cost of ownership principles.
- Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, automation, or project-based environments.
- Familiarity with contract administration, commercial terms and conditions, and supplier performance management.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and business value.
- Ability to assess and mitigate procurement-related risks while supporting project objectives.
- Exposure to data analysis and procurement performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.
