Mechanical Engineer

Your Role:

• Create and maintain 2D/3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Deliver accurate and complete drawings on time for manufacturing and assembly use
• Ensure compliance with global CAD standards and prevent drawing errors proactively
  
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Assembly (DFA), Inspection (DFI), Cost (DFC), and Maintenance (DFMtn) in design, including proper application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure functional fit, manufacturability, and inspection clarity
• Support equipment design based on customer specifications and engineering requirements
• Understand design intent and translate into practical and manufacturable design output
  
• Support part selection considering performance, cost, manufacturability, and material compatibility
  
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including BOM and drawings
  
• Manage design changes with proper revision control and drawing traceability
  
• Support modularization and standardization to improve scalability and engineering efficiency
  
• Propose new design methods, workflows, or improvements to enhance productivity and quality
  
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and vendors for design validation and issue resolution

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 37 years of experience in semiconductor equipment, gas delivery systems, or related industries
• Understanding of gas properties and material compatibility
• Knowledge or experience in Design-for-X (DFx) principles
• Experience with BOM creation and engineering documentation
• Familiarity with SAP, PDM, or engineering data management systems
• Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles (mechanics, materials, motion)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings
• Basic English communication skills
