Job Summary

The DRY-EM Associate Director – Joint Process Team Site Head will be responsible for leading and managing the Joint Process Team (JPT) operations at our Beijing site, ensuring efficient execution of dry product manufacturing processes and contributing to strategic initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation.

Job Responsibilities


Oversee and manage all aspects of the Joint Process Team (JPT) at the Beijing site, including operational excellence, resource allocation, and performance management.
Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company policies, and all relevant regulatory requirements for dry product manufacturing.
Drive process optimization and innovation initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of dry product manufacturing.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and other manufacturing sites, to achieve production goals and resolve issues.
Manage site budget, resource planning, and capital expenditure related to JPT operations.
Identify and implement best practices in dry product manufacturing, leveraging global expertise and local insights.
Represent the Beijing JPT site in global forums and discussions, contributing to overall dry product manufacturing strategy.
Ensure a safe working environment and promote a strong safety culture within the team.
Develop and implement strategies for talent development and succession planning within the JPT.

Job Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering discipline. A Master's or PhD is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within dry product manufacturing (e.g., tablets, capsules, powders).
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams in a complex manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of cGMP regulations, quality systems, and regulatory requirements pertaining to pharmaceutical dry products.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement techniques.
Proven ability to drive operational excellence, optimize processes, and deliver results.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
Experience in budget management, resource planning, and project management.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) is required.
Ability to travel internationally as needed.
