Branch Manager

Rexel Electrical Supplies, a part of Rexel Australia is a worldwide expert in distributing electric and energy-efficient products and services. We provide smart electrical solutions in over 1,900 branches across 21 countries worldwide that improve the comfort, safety and security of our customers’ homes, businesses, and industries.

We’re looking for an energetic, sales-driven Branch Manager to lead our Wynnum branch and drive its next phase of growth.  This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys being out with customers, spotting opportunities, quoting tenders, winning work and growing a branch. With a strong industrial customer base and plenty of opportunity in the local market, this role is ideal for someone who brings commercial drive, industry knowledge and a genuine passion for sales leadership.

As Branch Manager, you’ll take ownership of branch performance across sales, margin, operations, service and team leadership.

This is not a purely operational role. We’re looking for someone who will be active in the market, build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities and help expand the branch’s footprint across the local industrial sector.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving sales, margin and profit growth
• Leading the day-to-day operations of the branch
• Building strong relationships with industrial customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Getting out in the market to meet customers and win new business
• Preparing quotes, managing tenders and converting opportunities
• Coaching and leading the branch team to deliver strong service and commercial outcomes
• Creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture
• Maintaining strong safety, compliance and operational standards

• Strong background in sales, business development or branch leadership
• Proven ability to grow customer relationships and drive commercial results
• Experience quoting tenders, managing opportunities and closing sales
• A proactive, hands-on and growth-focused approach
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills
• Commercial acumen and the ability to balance sales with branch performance
• Experience in electrical wholesale or industrial markets highly regarded
