SENIOR PRODUCT APPROVAL SPECIALIST - LAUNDRY
Are you passionate about product compliance and safety within technical products? We are now looking for a Senior Product Approval Specialist to join our team within R&D.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a specialist within the compliance domain, you will play a key role in ensuring that our laundry products meet global safety and regulatory standards.

You will join a small and experienced team of three colleagues. The team is responsible for maintaining and updating certifications across a broad portfolio of existing products, as well as supporting ongoing development projects.

You will manage a portfolio of approximately 20 active projects, primarily focused on keeping certifications up to date for existing products. This includes working closely with stakeholders such as R&D engineers, internal lab, manufacturing sites, suppliers, and external certification partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain, update and manage product certifications for existing products.
  • Create specifications and test plans in line with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Interpret lab test data and support R&D in ensuring compliance.
  • Coordinate testing with internal labs and external third-party certification bodies.
  • Oversee and update technical files and certification documentation.
  • Evaluate engineering changes from a product compliance perspective. 
  • Support risk assessments and provide compliance expertise across the organization.
     

WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE

  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience working with product compliance, standards, and certifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, in particular the IEC 60335 standard series.
  • Experience from laundry products (washers/dryers) or similar equipment.
  • Preferably experience with gas-related products.
  • Solid understanding of product development and technical product lifecycles.

  • You are fluent in English, and Swedish is a strong advantage.
     

To be eligible for this role, you must already have the legal right to work in Sweden. We are unable to offer work permit sponsorship.
