SENIOR PRODUCT APPROVAL SPECIALIST - LAUNDRY
Are you passionate about product compliance and safety within technical products? We are now looking for a Senior Product Approval Specialist to join our team within R&D.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a specialist within the compliance domain, you will play a key role in ensuring that our laundry products meet global safety and regulatory standards.
You will join a small and experienced team of three colleagues. The team is responsible for maintaining and updating certifications across a broad portfolio of existing products, as well as supporting ongoing development projects.
You will manage a portfolio of approximately 20 active projects, primarily focused on keeping certifications up to date for existing products. This includes working closely with stakeholders such as R&D engineers, internal lab, manufacturing sites, suppliers, and external certification partners.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain, update and manage product certifications for existing products.
- Create specifications and test plans in line with applicable standards and regulations.
- Interpret lab test data and support R&D in ensuring compliance.
- Coordinate testing with internal labs and external third-party certification bodies.
- Oversee and update technical files and certification documentation.
- Evaluate engineering changes from a product compliance perspective.
- Support risk assessments and provide compliance expertise across the organization.
WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience working with product compliance, standards, and certifications.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, in particular the IEC 60335 standard series.
- Experience from laundry products (washers/dryers) or similar equipment.
- Preferably experience with gas-related products.
- Solid understanding of product development and technical product lifecycles.

- You are fluent in English, and Swedish is a strong advantage.
