Product Manager & Corporate Chef
As a Product Manager & Corporate Chef, you play a dual role, combining product marketing responsibilities with hands-on culinary expertise.
Your mission is to bring culinary and field knowledge to life in pre and post-sales activities—translating product innovation into customer value through demonstrations, product training, and market activation.
In collaboration with the Benelux Marketing Specialist, you also ensure the smooth operation of the Center of Excellence in Rotterdam. You will regularly work from the showroom, gaining hands-on experience with our products and sharing your expertise with colleagues and customers.
Location: Antwerp and Rotterdam
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Market & Product Management
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities in Benelux.
- Adapt global product strategies to local market requirements and provide market feedback to central teams.
- Partner with marketing to create impactful sales tools, campaigns, and product messaging.
- Support the localization of product and marketing materials into Dutch.
Pre-Sales Culinary Expertise
- Inspire customers through live cooking demonstrations, product presentations, and events.
- Provide culinary and product expertise to support sales opportunities and customer engagement.
Post-Sales Support & Customer Success
- Deliver training and coaching to maximize product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for additional business.
Center of Excellence Management
- Coordinate the Center of Excellence program, events, and guest speakers.
- Ensure efficient showroom operations and an outstanding visitor experience.
Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration
- Transform product knowledge into compelling sales stories, demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Act as the product ambassador for your categories, driving expertise across the organization.
- Collaborate with the Chef Academy to create memorable culinary experiences.
Additional Information
- Regular travel across the Benelux region (approximately 30%) and occasional travel throughout Europe for in-house training or group events
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required for demonstrations or events.
WHAT'S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, sales, or culinary roles within the professional kitchen or foodservice equipment industry.
- Experience delivering product demonstrations, training sessions, and customer-facing events.
- Ability to turn technical product features into compelling customer benefits.
- Culinary degree from a Dutch or Belgian institution.
- Strong hands-on culinary expertise gained in professional kitchens or culinary training environments.
- Fluency in Dutch and English mandatory.
- Fluency in French is a plus
- Comfortable using IT tools like Microsoft 365.
