Job Description
As a Staff II – Outsourced IT Technical Consultant, you will work alongside a dynamic team to support the IT infrastructure and service needs of our clients. You will provide remote IT support, assist in the administration of cloud services, and contribute to the planning and deployment of technology projects. This role is designed for professionals ready to build on foundational experience in IT support and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide remote helpdesk and desktop support for end users.
Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365 and Azure services.
Assist with user management in Active Directory and AzureAD.
Support day-to-day operations of client networks, servers, and security systems.
Perform software updates, patches, and installations.
Participate in small to mid-sized project rollouts and technical deployments.
Document system configurations, updates, and procedures.
Assist senior consultants in client network monitoring and issue resolution.
Deliver timely, clear communication and exceptional service to clients.
Basic Qualifications:
3–6 years of hands-on IT support experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server platforms.
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure fundamentals.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID/AzureAD.
Working knowledge of firewalls, routers, and networking protocols.
Exposure to virtual environments and cloud-based services.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and client-handling skills.
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with WatchGuard, Fortinet, or SonicWall is a plus.
Familiarity with ConnectWise or similar RMM tools is an advantage.
Professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar are preferred.
