Job Description:

The MRP Clerk is responsible for developing and utilizing procedures necessary to plan the product realization process and inventory control requirements in a way that satisfies the demands of sales for lead time and customer satisfaction, while working with the scheduling team, allocating the organization's resources in a way that meets the organization’s general objectives regarding profitability, cost controls, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately date the product realization process for incoming sales requests.
  • Create cutsheets as needed for department-specific orders.
  • Validate material usage requirements in the dating of production and sales orders.
  • Manage inventory requirements to service sales expectations and cash flow targets.
  • Create and maintain production order folders & material master information.
  • Responsible for managing production floor planning boards.
  • Rushing expedites for production execution.
  • Updating & maintaining missing parts report (including buyer requests, communicating calculated dates to customer service, and updating of SAP production order dates).
  • Assist scheduling team to properly schedule staff and equipment based on capacity constraints to meet the needs of the customer base, while successfully meeting company performance expectations.
  • Identify concerns and develop process improvement standards.
  • Some SAP inventory management duties may be assigned as needed.
  • Conduct timely communications with customer service, ensuring that any product realization information necessary for the customer is available and accurate.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively within SAP. (Must)
  • Intermediate level experience in MS Office. (Must)
  • 2+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication (English) and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment, understanding MRP processes and fulfilling objectives with minimum direct supervision.
  • Able to respond to internal requests for information in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
