Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000
Position Summary: The engineer develops and improves manufacturing processes to support safe, efficient, and repeatable production. This role works closely with production teams to troubleshoot machining issues, support new product introductions, and implement improvements that enhance quality, productivity, and overall manufacturing performance
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

Process Development and Improvement
- Develop, document, and maintain manufacturing processes to ensure consistent and efficient production.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and increase process reliability.
- Implement process improvements related to machining operations, tooling, fixturing, and workholding.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance.
Production Support
- Maintain an active presence on the manufacturing floor to support production teams and troubleshoot process issues.
- Assist operators and supervisors in resolving machining, tooling, and setup challenges.
- Provide technical support to ensure processes run efficiently and meet quality requirements.
- Monitor production performance and recommend adjustments to improve process stability.
Engineering and Technical Oversight
- Develop process documentation including work instructions, setup sheets, and process specifications.
- Support engineering change implementation and ensure processes are updated accordingly.
- Assist with evaluation and selection of tooling, equipment, and process methods.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability.
New Product Introduction
- Support new product launches by developing manufacturing processes and validating production methods.
- Work with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth transition from design to production.
- Evaluate prototype and initial production runs to ensure manufacturing feasibility and quality compliance.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet internal quality standards and customer requirements.
- Support root cause investigations for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure process documentation supports traceability and compliance with company standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve operational performance.
- Communicate technical requirements and process updates clearly to production teams.
- Support problem-solving efforts across departments to improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role does not include direct supervisory responsibility. The Process Engineer works closely with production teams and leadership to provide technical guidance and process support but does not manage personnel or disciplinary actions.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience in CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, or process development. Experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of machining processes and production operations is highly desirable.
Language Skills
Ability to effectively communicate technical information, process instructions, and operational expectations to
employees across all levels of the organization. Must be able to clearly document procedures and explain manufacturing processes to production teams.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to machining operations, including measurement conversions, tolerances, feeds and speeds, and process capability analysis. Must be comfortable analyzing operational data and process performance metrics.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to identify manufacturing problems, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions. Must be able to evaluate multiple variables in a production environment and apply sound judgment to support efficient and reliable manufacturing processes
