Westview International Language School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies Teacher for the academic year 2026-2027 to join our dynamic teaching team. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement effective Social Studies lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Create an inclusive and interactive classroom environment that engages students in discussions on history, geography, civics, and social issues.
• Utilize varied teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to encourage academic growth.
• Encourage extracurricular activities related to social studies to deepen student understanding and interest.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum integration and share best teaching practices.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding student development and classroom activities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on educational trends and methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Studies, History, or a related field.
• Proven teaching experience in Social Studies at the secondary level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of social studies content including history, geography, and civics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Ability to engage and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
