Job Description

As a Principal / Senior Structural Engineer (15+ years' experience) in our QLD Structural team, your impact will be in the successful delivery of technically complex structural brownfield and greenfield projects for resources and water infrastructure clients.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage and/or support projects at various lifecycle stages related to mining and resources, roads, drainage, dams, water treatment plants, storm water management and heavy industrial developments.
  • Undertaking technical project works including structural calculations, design and review of drawings, specifications, estimates and reports.
  • Providing technical expertise and advice through all stages of the project lifecycle from feasibility studies, detailed design, condition assessments and construction support works associated with concrete, precast and steelwork structures.
  • Manage project work technically and contractually to ensure that it meets technical requirements
  • Financial management of projects by monitoring the actual time and cost expended on the total project against the budget, informing client of any changes in scope of work or other causes of variances from project resources
  • Participating in client management and supporting broader business development activities for the QLD structural team
