We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our WA Civil team. This role provides technical expertise across a wide range of civil, structural, resources and geotechnical projects across Australia.
Job Description
We are seeking a Chemical/Process Engineer – a recent Graduate or Junior Engineer with 2 - 5 years experience to join our Integrated Water Planning Team in our Brisbane office.
In this role you will provide technical assistance in the assessment and strategic planning of water and wastewater treatment plants to manage growth, compliance, network performance, and renewals. Your work will include master planning, options assessments, feasibility studies, and business case preparation.
The role will require the successful applicant to:
- Learn and apply fundamental chemical and physical concepts to review and define problems, and then design treatment process solutions.
- Develop calculation sheets and models, PFDs and P&IDs, and inform design drawings.
- Prepare reports and presentations to clearly communicate findings to clients.
Qualifications
About You
You are interested in a career in water and/or wastewater treatment, and are motivated to learn and work with a high-performing team.
Ideally you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
- Recent Graduate (2+ yrs exp): no direct industry experience needed, but experience in a similar role will be viewed favourably.
- Ability to work proactively within a team, learning and applying technical skills to solve problems and deliver positive outcomes for clients.
