About this role
Sales Coordinator
What if your next role changed lives, including your own?
At EF Language Abroad, we believe that learning a language abroad is one of the most transformative experiences a person can have. And we need passionate, driven people to help make that happen. That's where you come in.
We're looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our team in Quito or Guayaquil, Ecuador, supporting the demand from the Cuenca market. This is your chance to grow your career in a global company, work alongside an energetic and ambitious team, and help young people take the leap toward a life-changing experience abroad.
You'll be at the heart of our sales operation: managing your own pipeline, building real relationships with prospective students, and guiding them through one of the most exciting decisions of their lives. No scripts, no cold calling - just meaningful conversations, real impact, and a team that's genuinely rooting for you from day one
Your main responsibilities are:
Student Recruitment:
Own your sales pipeline from end to end - from the first contact to the signed enrollment.
Conduct consultations and virtual office meetings, guiding prospective students through their options with confidence and empathy.
Host and participate in Information Meetings to present our programs to potential students.
Make welcome home calls to nurture relationships after initial contact.
Develop customized nurturing strategies via email and social media to keep prospects engaged throughout the funnel.
Beyond Sales - A Little Bit of Everything
As part of a dynamic team, you'll occasionally get involved in representing EF at fairs and events, supporting marketing campaigns and content creation, building ambassadors and referral networks, helping localize global materials for the local market, and supporting operational tasks such as airport duty, rebooking, payment follow-ups, document collection, and visa processes.
Requirements:
Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Tourism, or related fields.
Work Experience: Any professional experience, internship, or summer job is valued. Up to 1 Year of full-time experience is ideal.
Language Level: Upper-intermediate English proficiency. Additional languages are a plus.
International Experience: Having lived, studied, or worked abroad is a nice-to-have.
Sales Drive: Strong motivation to hit targets and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
People Skills: Passion for building genuine relationships and delivering outstanding service.
Adaptability: Comfortable in dynamic environments, under pressure, and occasionally on weekends.
Team Player: Collaborative, open-minded, and culturally aware.
Tech-Savvy: Familiar with CRM tools to manage leads, follow-ups, and KPIs.

Company at a glance
Founded in 1965 in Sweden, EF (Education First) is a global association of education companies that share a common mission of opening the world through education.
Some companies are in the business of banking. Others are in the business of shoes. Or sports. Or soft drinks. At EF, we're in a different kind of business. One that's a little less tangible, and a lot more important. Because our business, what we make, makes everything else possible. We're in the business of understanding. Between people. Between cultures.
For over half a century we’ve been the leader in international educational programs and experiences designed to foster such understanding. Through language, cultural exchange, academic studies, and educational travel, we create the kinds of immersive experiences that challenge biases, open minds, and pave the way for a more understanding world.
You’ll find our offices and schools located in some of the world’s greatest cities, and filled with smart, driven people (over 50,000 of us) who push each other to be better every day. But it’s what we do together - building greater understanding, breaking down barriers, and creating a better world - that makes all the difference.
