About this role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of electrical systems on commercial job sites
  • Run conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC) and pull wire according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Install lighting, panels, and electrical components
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervision
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards
  • Work collaboratively with foremen, journeymen, and project teams

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices
  • Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and layouts
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Ability to take direction and apply feedback in the field
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Willingness to continue learning and advancing within the trade

Education and Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or completed at least Level 3 of an electrical apprenticeship program
  • 2+ years of electrical field experience preferred
  • Basic hand tools required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various job site conditions
  • Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when required
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions for outdoor projects
