About this role
As a Senior Business Execution Strategist on the Product & Investment Management team, you’ll play a pivotal role as an experienced individual contributor responsible for advancing and leading the development and delivery of an integrated operating model and multiyear roadmap that unites Technology, Product, and Investment Management teams. This candidate ensures the organization brings segmented solutions to market in alignment with the business plan, while driving clarity, accountability, and measurable outcomes across all functions. This role serves as the connective tissue between vision and delivery — shaping priorities, building business cases, orchestrating cross functional execution, and ensuring teams deliver with discipline, innovation, and operational excellence.

For this Business Execution Strategist role, we are seeking a candidate with proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams & shape business solutions to advance development of EFE’s wealth management solutions and facilitate implementation of our enterprise AI strategy. Responsibilities:
- Lead complex business initiatives with limited guidance by defining objectives, assessing business value, sizing financial and operational impact, evaluating risks, and recommending practical courses of action for senior leadership consideration.
- Develop & maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive trends, client needs, technology shifts and industry developments especially in the fast-moving AI space
- Lead cross-functional workstreams and selected initiatives from concept through pilot, launch readiness, and performance monitoring, establishing milestones, KPIs, decision points, and risk mitigation plans.
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align teams, influence decisions, and prepare leadership-ready materials for internal and external engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant experience across management consulting, corporate strategy, product strategy, financial services, banking/fintech, technology strategy, or business execution; experience in investment solutions or wealth management strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead complex workstreams or initiatives, including strategic framing, analysis, stakeholder alignment, leadership communication, implementation planning, and outcome tracking.
- Executive quality PowerPoint skills: story lining, visual synthesis, and tailoring messages for SLT/Board.
- Excel/Sheets proficiency: Strong analytical toolkit (market/competitive analysis, basic financial modeling, scenario/sensitivity analysis)
- Influence without authority: knows when to lead from the front vs. support the leader; escalates thoughtfully; does not step on toes.
- Experience evaluating AI/ML solutions in regulated financial services environments (preferred)
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $100,000- $143,900. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
