Institutional Client Marketing Associate
About this role
Responsibilities:
- Own strategy, preparation, and content creation for Sales Enablement: Partner with the Sales team to create compelling pitch decks, one-pagers, and tailored collateral to reinforce EFE’s market leadership, mission, and value proposition.
- Create bespoke storylines that engage, persuade, and cultivate expanded, lasting relationships with some of the nation’s largest employers.
- Translate data, technical details around investment management and product and insights into RFP responses and creative, original stories of the value and impact of our financial planning and advice services to our employer clients.
- Use internal and external sources to research and uncover client-specific priorities and engagement data to create bespoke and engaging content, and target opportunities for clients to adopt additional services.
- Partner with our internal Sales and client-servicing stakeholders, lead internal meetings, and identify key themes of most relevance to the prospective or existing client, then bring those themes to life through presentations.
- Develop content for multi-channel engagement opportunities (email, paid search, LinkedIn, industry events) to nurture prospects and reinforce EFE’s value to existing clients.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of relatable professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, B2B storytelling, and financial services experience required; understanding of the needs and challenges of the large employer audience is a plus.
- Client-centricity: Approaches challenges with empathy and curiosity; shows aptitude for stepping into the shoes of large employer clients to build trust, identify opportunities, and demonstrate the value our services are providing the employer client and their employees.
- Experience partnering with Sales and client-servicing internal partners.
- An "owner" mentality, eager to take responsibility for projects, boldly identify and present ideas, and learn quickly in a dynamic B2B environment.
- Strategic and confident Sales-minded marketer with ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
- Excellent communicator with strong listening, verbal, writing, and proofreading skills.
- Effective at building relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Strong proficiency in content creation and PowerPoint required, with an eye for creative design and visualizing data and complex topics.
- Marketing samples may be requested.
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is below. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
