Design Engineer (Lighting)
About this role
This will help you grow:
- Design and develop automotive lighting systems, subsystems, and components at vehicle level.
- Create 3D models using CATIA V5 including part modeling, solid modeling, and surface modeling.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and engineering documentation.
- Perform assembly design and validation of lighting components.
- Lead or contribute to headlamp and tail lamp design from concept phase to production.
- Ensure designs comply with automotive lighting regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as styling, manufacturing, and quality.
- Conduct design reviews and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Maintain design data and documentation in accordance with company processes.
This is how you will help us move forward:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
- Experience working on full vehicle lighting projects.
- Exposure to OEM or Tier-1 automotive environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Working knowledge of German language is an added advantage.
