Your Responsibilities
We continue to grow and are looking for a Business Development Manager/ Dealer Channel to join our Sales team.Role Purpose
The Business Development Manager/ Dealer Channel is responsible for the European dealer channel strategy for our robotic solutions portfolio, covering:
- Robotic Lawn Mowers sold via garden, forestry, and professional outdoor dealers
- Robotic Pool Cleaners sold via specialist pool dealers and service partners
This role defines how we build, develop, and professionalize dealer networks, drive sustainable growth, and scale premium robotic technologies across diverse European markets.
Candidates may come from either garden machinery or pool equipment dealer channels — deep expertise in one, with the ability to expand into the other.
Key Responsibilities
European Dealer Channel Strategy
- Define and execute a multi-country dealer channel strategy for robotic lawn and pool solutions.
- Develop a clear channel segmentation (garden specialists, forestry dealers, service providers, pool specialists)
- Adapt go-to-market approaches to different dealer realities, seasonality, and customer journeys.
Business Development & Expansion
- Identify and onboard strategic dealer partners and/or distributor across garden and pool channels.
- Define expansion priorities by country, region, and channel type.
Commercial Leadership
- Own pricing architecture, margin models, and commercial terms for dealer channel.
- Define and monitor KPIs such as sell-in, sell-out, inventory turns, margin, and service performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, and After-Sales to ensure:
- Successful product launches
- Dealer training & certification programs
- Strong service ecosystems
- Shape dealer-focused marketing concepts (POS, promotions, demo programs, events).
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop Business Development Managers across regions.
- Set clear objectives, coaching standards, and performance expectations.
- Act as a role model for structured, data-driven channel management.
Your profile
Experience & Skills Required
Must-Have Experience
- 10+ years in dealer-based sales or business development
- Background in either:
- Garden / outdoor power equipment / robotic lawn mowers
- Pool equipment / pool robots / technical pool products
- Proven experience managing multi-country dealer networks in Europe
Core Competencies
- Deep understanding of indirect sales and dealer economics
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
- Ability to manage complexity across different dealer types and cultures
Languages & Mobility
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- At least one major European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian preferred)
- Willingness to travel frequently across Europe
