The Senior Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading and executing end‑to‑end recruitment for various functions, including technical departments. This role will be supporting plant development and expansion, and ongoing operations by attracting and hiring high‑quality talent across multiple disciplines. The role requires deep experience in technical / industrial hiring, strong stakeholder management with plant leadership, and the ability to deliver results in fast‑paced, project‑driven environments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business Leaders: Collaborate with business leaders to gain insights into their needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly. Utilize data analytics to provide meaningful insights and advice, acting as a talent advisor to support their objectives.
  • Develop Effective Recruitment Strategies: Identify hiring needs and devise robust strategies to build diverse talent pipelines that meet business requirements. Efficiently track and share talent, employing consistent processes and leveraging appropriate tools.
  • Foster Communication and Collaboration: Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure clear and timely communication. Align recruitment efforts with organizational objectives and provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices for selection and interviewing.
  • Proactively Source Talent: Build strategic talent pipelines for critical and senior-level positions. Conduct executive searches and engage with passive candidates to attract top talent.
  • Manage Recruitment Projects: Identify opportunities for operational efficiency within the recruitment team and drive project implementation. Effectively manage change and develop communication plans to support project success.
  • Utilize Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data to optimize recruitment strategies and enhance decision-making. Use analytics to measure effectiveness and make informed adjustments.
  • Cultivate External Relationships: Develop and maintain partnerships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and industry partners to expand talent networks and access diverse candidate pools.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of end to end talent sourcing and talent acquisition experience with regional recruitment experience, ideally with exposure in the manufacturing or chemical industry
  • Experience in hiring for research & development or technical positions in various countries would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to quickly learn about new markets and conduct thorough and high-quality search processes, including mapping, outreach, engagement, evaluation, and presentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive recruitment results by influencing key stakeholders, both internally and externally, and managing their expectations.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, tools, and technologies, including applicant tracking systems and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English, Chinese - Mandarin and Cantonese required.
  • Candidate with less experience would be considered as Recruitment Manager
