What you’ll do:

This role provides finance and commercial support for project contract review and execution in Thailand. The primary function is to review finance-related contract terms, support negotiation, and ensure proper follow-through across the project life cycle to manage financial risk, improve billing timeliness, and support cash flow and project margin.
The role works closely with sales, project managers, and cross-functional teams to support areas such as bank guarantees, milestone payments, insurance clauses, tax considerations, and unbilled billing follow-up.
Provide dedicated Thailand-based support due to language requirements for contract review and negotiation, improve billing efficiency and reduce unbilled exposure.   
Review project contracts in Thai and English, focusing on finance and commercial terms.
Support end-to-end contract review, including payment structure, billing triggers, retention, BG and insurance, etc, recommend practical solutions
Review and negotiate milestone payment terms to improve cash flow and reduce working capital exposure.
Support coordinate and negotiate bank guarantee requirements between treasury and customer
Coordinate insurance-related term review with internal stakeholders and customer.
Work with finance and tax teams to assess tax implications in contract terms.
Actively follow up on unbilled invoices and resolve billing delays with project and operations teams.
Review project costing sheets and validate key commercial and financial assumptions.
Partner with sales and project teams during bidding and project setup.
Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for contract review and approvals.
Support process improvements in contract review and billing follow-up.
Support ad-hoc requests and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in finance, commercial finance, project controlling, or contract review
  • Experience supporting project-based businesses or contract negotiations is preferred
  • Understanding of contract commercial terms and project-based business models
  • Knowledge of milestone billing, unbilled receivables, bank guarantees (BG), and working capital management
  • Basic knowledge of tax implications related to contracts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good business judgment and risk awareness
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to work
  • Fluent in Thai and English, both written and spoken
