Big Truck Mechanic – Piscataway, NJ
Currently, we are seeking a Big Truck Mechanic to support our Piscataway, NJ location and surrounding areas. We offer tremendous opportunity for growth, competitive compensation and benefits for individuals who want a career with a great company that maintains a family feel!
Main Duties:
- Diagnose, repair, inspect, and maintain equipment MAINLY LARGE CAPACITY FORKLIFTS
- Much of lift truck repair will be in port & heavy industrial locations
- Provide courteous and professional service
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience repairing forklifts and/or heavy equipment
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Cummins experience
- Experience as a road mechanic a plus
- Welding / fabricating experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must have own tools
- Clean driving record
- Stable work history
- Dependable, self-motivated professional
- Excellent work ethic and a POSITIVE attitude
- Ability to provide references of prior employers
Compensation:
This position pays an hourly range between $45.00 - $50.00/hr; compensation is based on experience.
