Responsibilities:

  • Assist plumbers in the installation and maintenance of industrial plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and waste systems.
  • Help with measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes according to specifications and project blueprints.
  • Support the installation of fixtures, valves, and other plumbing components.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely and properly.
  • Follow safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials, as well as transporting them to job sites.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment as required.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors or lead plumbers.

Education Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in plumbing, construction, or related fields is a plus but not required.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints and technical drawings is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in plumbing work.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50lbs) and work in various industrial environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and techniques.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency with measurement tools (e.g., tape measure, level).
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels.
