Student Merchandise Coordinator
About this role
This role focuses on managing a full lifecycle of branded merchandise, from initial concept through production and distribution. The position requires strong organization, communication, and project management skills to oversee multiple merchandise initiatives simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking of all products.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end branded merchandise development, including product ideation, mockups, vendor sourcing, and order fulfillment.
- Manage trademark and licensing processes by submitting requests and ensuring brand compliance across all products.
- Research, evaluate, and communicate with approved vendors to request quotes, compare pricing, negotiate details, and manage relationships.
- Analyze product pricing, royalties, and quantity distribution to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Maintain consistent vendor communication, including project updates, order confirmations, proof approvals, and relationship management.
- Organize and track merchandise projects through internal systems (Monday) to monitor timelines, approvals, and production status.
- Perform monthly merchandise inventory audits, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock records to ensure efficient inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Process merch store orders for both pickup and shipping, ensuring accurate fulfillment, timely distribution, and proper documentation of each transaction.
- Collaborate with the social media team to promote the merch store through seasonal product launches, special events, sales campaigns, and other marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Attend regular merch store meetings to provide updates on store operations, inventory, sales performance, and upcoming initiatives while presenting new ideas to enhance merchandise offerings and customer engagement.
- Ensure the merch store remains clean and organized by maintaining displays, organizing inventory, and breaking down and disposing of shipping boxes and packaging materials.
