Student Maintenance Assistant
About this role
Auburn Athletics is excited to begin the search for a Student Maintenance Assistant to assist with daily pool maintenance and cleaning as well as event set-up and breakdown. This position does require SCUBA diving as part of the job duties.
About Aquatics: James E. Martin Aquatics Center is located between Beard-Eaves Coliseum and the Student Activities Center. It houses an Olympic-size pool with three moveable bulkheads which allow for variable distance competition and simultaneous diving as well as an instructional pool used for various classes. The facility is open daily to the public for use and is also utilized by various student groups and local clubs.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning of pools
- Assisting with set-up and breakdown for events
- Clean-up and light custodial duties
- Light maintenance and repairs to equipment
Qualifications
Enrolled student at Auburn University
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work nights and weekends
