About this role

Guide the manufacturing region to provide the necessary resources and expertise according to the program timing from  quote to EOP

Supervise and manage the industrialization of customer products in the region acc. to the FLP process

Lead activities related to quotes, MSD, capacity, capex and launch activities in the region

Lead automation activities in the region

Be responsible and perform PFMEA before ordering e.g. tools, equipment

Ensure transfer of technical knowledge and prevent reoccurrence of failures ( A3 thinking)

Develop and create SOWs for tools and equipment, ensuring adherence with the Kautex global standards

Support for continuous improvement of existing product lines in located plant related to production equipment and tools.

Supports all site activities related to safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures.

Support technical purchase department during the supplier nomination process for process equipment, take part at concept meetings, check concept to our specifications

Ensure availability and effectiveness of organizational roles, responsibilities and authorities for the quality management system to comply to automotive standards and customer requirements especially according to IATF 16949

A requirement to follow ISO 14001 and 45001 systems



• University Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or comparable
• Min 5 years of experience in manufacturing/manufacturing engineering
• Strong Knowledge in launch activities
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Good knowledge of production concepts and production processes, good understanding of Kautex standards, basic financial understanding
• Risk Management / FMEA/ Risk Assessment
• Ability to facility meetings and give direction to employees
• English language and local language skills are needed
