Dyson’s Global IT – Group Support Functions has end-to-end accountability for the strategic roadmap, design, delivery, and support of all business applications enabling Dysons global planning, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, aftersales, finance, HR and legal business processes. Forming a significant proportion of the IT Function, the team is arranged into business and technology-focused domains: • Global Supply Chain (including Planning & Mfg as well as Core Supply Chain Logistics) • Finance Systems • HR Systems • Legal Systems About the Role Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst – Global Supply Chain Systems, you will be responsible for leading business analysis activities across Supply Chain and Planning initiatives, supporting the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of business applications and processes. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, and delivery teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into scalable technology solutions. The role will also support strategic transformation programmes, operational improvements, and application enhancements across Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics domains. Key Responsibilities • Lead discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions with global business stakeholders. • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, standardisation, and simplification. • Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts including BRDs, user stories, process maps, use cases, functional specifications, and requirements traceability matrices. • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand business changes, challenges, and opportunities, and translate them into clear solution requirements. • Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and solution evaluations across business processes, systems, integrations, data, and reporting. • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and QA teams to define and deliver end-to-end solutions. • Support prioritisation and management of business requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product roadmaps. • Provide functional expertise across Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics, and related business processes. • Support the review and validation of solution designs to ensure business requirements are fully addressed. • Partner with technical teams to identify and mitigate functional, process, and data-related risks. • Support testing activities, including test planning, scenario development, defect triage, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business validation. • Conduct business user training and support change management and adoption activities where required. • Support business case development, benefits realisation, and solution evaluations during the project lifecycle. • Measure and monitor solution effectiveness, process KPIs, and service performance metrics. • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing recommendations and guidance on business processes, solution capabilities, and best practices. • Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of BA methodologies, templates, and delivery standards. • Effectively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations across multiple initiatives. About You You will possess strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams. You will be comfortable operating in a global, matrix-managed environment and have experience delivering complex Supply Chain and Planning system initiatives. Core Competencies • Strong business analysis expertise, including requirements elicitation, process modelling, and solution design. • Proven experience delivering Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, or Logistics projects. • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive decisions across multiple functions and levels. • Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. • Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical and scalable process flow. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities. • Experience supporting testing, business validation, and user adoption activities. • Solid understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, and data flows. • Strong planning and organisational skills with attention to detail. • Experience working with third-party vendors, system integrators, and consulting partners. • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. • Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning systems such as SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, or related Supply Chain applications is highly desirable. Experience & Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. • 8+ years of Business Analysis experience within enterprise IT environments. • Strong experience across Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, or ERP platforms. • Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes and global deployments. • Relevant certifications such as CBAP, AAC, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or SAP functional certifications are advantageous
