Position Summary:   

The Aircraft Records Specialist performs multiple levels of scheduling maintenance of assigned aircraft and associated aircraft in accordance with applicable instructions, technical orders, and commercial maintenance programs. This role develops logistics scheduling documents ensuring the successful accomplishment of all requirements. The role supports Dynamic Aviation remote bases and the corporate maintenance office on multiple aircraft types.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manages, and coordinates maintenance program with program managers, planning, the customer and other depts to ensure on time input/return of aircraft from heavy maintenance.

  • Manages, develops, and schedules in the ERP system the inspection and work packages for major, intermediate level, and scheduled inspections

  • Ensures logbook entries are completed with accuracy and efficiency and presented to quality control

  • Develops operational and maintenance scheduling requirements for all assigned aircraft, and engines into short and long range, quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily plans; forecasting known requirements to meet all scheduled maintenance and inspection requirements

  • Updates and coordinates daily and weekly maintenance schedules and conducts aircraft record reviews and maintains aircraft historical records in accordance with applicable instructions

  • Manages, and performs configuration management; validates suspense and verifies correct parts are installed in the proper configuration on assigned aircraft

  • Manages, tracks, and coordinates the airworthiness directive (AD) and service bulletin (SB) programs

  • Provides technical operations with aircraft maintenance paperwork using MS Office suite

  • Extracts aircraft data from historical aircraft data to baseline aircraft maintenance for senior leadership

  • Manages all aircraft records in accordance with CFR 43.9 and requirements set forth in Dynamic Aviation’s 145 Repair Station Manuals and AS9100D

  • Maintains/reviews Aircraft logbooks; receives, transfers, inspects, files, and updates active and inactive historical documents for assigned aircraft

  • Research life limited parts data to establish times on aircraft parts and enters the parts data into current ERP System

  • Verifies correct flying hour data is correctly accounted for and updated in the ERP system

  • Maintains aircraft specific technical manuals, publications and reference libraries 

  • Manages subscriptions and access to aviation maintenance documentation and technical data systems

  • Coordinates updates and distribution of technical publications to support regulatory compliance and operational readiness

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of working in an exceptionally dynamic maintenance scheduling environment

  • Demonstrates ability to work effectively with complex details and high attention to detail

  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations

  • Previous experience and proficiency with MS Office suite, particularly Excel

  • Ability to recognize process or equipment deviations from expected performance or output

  • Ability to fully understand manufacturer’s maintenance program(s); translating to our fleet of aircraft

 

Additional Requirements

  • Passport or work authorization requirements to work in the U.S.

 

Working Conditions 

  • Monday-Friday, hours are either 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating office equipment

  • Ability to view computer screens for extended periods, with close vision and the ability to adjust focus

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Pay Band: $16.08-$25.96 per hour. Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
