POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CRNP or PA to join our healthcare team. The CRNP or PA will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care, conducting physical exams and health assessments, and developing treatment plans.

This position will report 2 to 3 days weekly. Schedule to vary weekly however will be outlined for the semester in advance.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct physical exams, health assessments, and develop treatment plans for student patients. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and make referrals as necessary.

Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. Document patient encounters and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and stay current on best practices in healthcare.

Completes other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum qualifications:


Master’s degree in the related field from an accredited educational institution.

Current Certification (CRNP or PA-C)

Active State License in good standing as a CRNP or PA-C in Pennsylvania

1-3 years of work- related experience

Preferred qualifications:

Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Alternatively, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Knowledge of electronic medical record systems

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the University Community.
