We are seeking a friendly and organized Office Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in supporting the day-to-day operations of the office and ensuring excellent customer service. The successful applicant will assist office staff with various administrative tasks, special projects, and events while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Duquesne University’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet students, families, and visitors at the front desk
  • Manage front desk reception duties, including answering phones and taking messages
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and small computer projects
  • Support office staff with special projects and events as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers and performing basic computer tasks
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow institutional policies
