Duquesne Athletics Marketing Office Work-Study Position
The Duquesne Athletics Marketing Office Work-Study Student supports the planning, promotion, and execution of marketing initiatives that enhance the fan experience and increase engagement with the university’s athletic programs. This position provides hands-on experience in sports marketing, social media, content creation, event promotion, and office operations while working collaboratively with the athletics marketing staff.
Responsibilities:
·· Assist with planning and developing social media content for marketing platforms
·· Represent athletics through on-campus tabling and outreach efforts to increase awareness of athletic events, engage with students, and encourage participation in the Red & Blue Crew
·· Capture content at practices and athletic events
·· Create and edit short-form video content and other promotional materials
·· Assist with initiatives supporting the Red & Blue Crew student section
·· Conduct research to support marketing projects including promotional giveaway ideas and prospective outreach contacts
·· Help organize and maintain digital photo and video libraries by labeling, sorting, and archiving content
·· Assist with general office tasks including data entry, preparing marketing materials, organizing supplies, and other administrative duties
·· Additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
·· Interest in sports marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field
·· Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
·· Creative mindset with an interest in content creation and storytelling
·· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
·· Be engaging and outgoing with both large groups and individuals
·· Exceptional interpersonal skills, judgement, initiative, and attention to detail
