Duration: Academic Year (Fall 2026 – Spring 2027)
Hourly Rate: $14/hour
Hours/Week: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview:

Crew members with the Office of Student Housing and Residence Life (SHRL) assist with facilities operations and logistics in the Residence Halls. Responsibilities include furniture movement, inventory organization, and support for housing transition processes throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities:

  • Individuals in this position may be expected to complete the following responsibilities, as assigned. Task assignments may vary on a daily basis based on department priorities and operational needs:
  • Relocate and arrange student room furniture
  • Replace or recover mattresses and lounge furniture
  • Transport items to storage areas
  • Assist with equipment logistics
  • Inventory, organize, and clean storage and supply areas
  • Support room turnover during housing transitions
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals and physical operations of the department

Additional Notes: Work-study is not required for this position. Candidates should be prepared for physical labor, including lifting and moving furniture and equipment.
