Tax Accounting and EMEA CIT Manager
About this role
As Tax Accounting & EMEA CIT Manager, you will help lead the Tax accounting and pillar 2 activities for the entire group and lead the EMEA corporate income tax function. You will manage CIT compliance, tax accounting deliverables and manage Pillar 2 workstreams in close partnership with Finance and local teams. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical tax knowledge with practical process ownership and stakeholder management. Swiss CIT knowledge is preferred given the expected regional and group context. Located in Maastricht, the position offers broad exposure to compliance, reporting, governance and tax audit matters across EMEA.
- Lead and coordinate EMEA corporate income tax compliance processes, working with local teams, Finance and external advisers as needed
- Manage tax accounting deliverables, including review of tax positions, reporting inputs and coordination with group reporting timelines
- Support and coordinate Pillar 2 processes for the group, including data gathering, analysis and interaction with relevant stakeholders
- Manage CIT audits and inquiries, including information requests, technical support, documentation and alignment with local teams
- Provide practical CIT guidance for business changes, restructurings, financing or other cross-border matters affecting EMEA entities
- Drive process improvements, governance and controls to ensure reliable tax reporting and compliance outcomes
- A visible role in a newly shaped global tax function with close connection to Finance, business leaders and external advisers

- 5-7 years of relevant corporate income tax and/or tax accounting experience gained in consultancy/advisory and/or in an industry tax function
- Strong EMEA CIT knowledge, with Swiss corporate income tax knowledge preferred
- Experience with tax accounting, tax reporting, deferred tax concepts and working with Finance or Controlling teams
- Practical understanding of Pillar 2 requirements and the ability to coordinate complex data and stakeholder workstreams
- Experience supporting or managing tax audits and working with external advisers and tax authorities
- Growth mindset with strong interest in tax technology, automation, data analytics and artificial intelligence, with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working and leverage innovative solutions to create a more efficient, scalable and data-driven tax function
