ServiceNow SPM Application Developer
About this role

DSA is seeking a ServiceNow Application Developer to support the MilTech customer in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining solutions across the ServiceNow platform in support of mission requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- DoD 8570.01 IAT or IAM Level II certification
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience focused on ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration
- Strong experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, SQL, and Linux
- Solid understanding of web services (SOAP) and object-oriented programming principles
- Experience working with ITIL v3 processes
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform integrations and toolsets
- Experience supporting DevSecOps practices, including software development, release, and maintenance
- Experience with ServiceNow App Engine Studio and Creator Studio
- Experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, IT Asset Management, Automation Engine, Service Catalog, Incident/Problem Management, Reporting, and Configuration Management
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and work independently or collaboratively
Desired Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification
- ITIL v3 certification
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions to support new features, capabilities, and system integrations within ServiceNow
- Configure, enhance, and maintain ServiceNow platform implementations across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules following best practices
- Develop automation and integration solutions across the ServiceNow platform
- Support ongoing system improvements aligned with mission and customer requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of technical solutions in a secure, mission-driven environment
