How You Will Contribute
- As our Senior Business Controller, you will:
- Lead and develop the local Controlling team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee the financial performance of the site and provide transparency on key business indicators.
- Prepare and manage monthly forecasts, projections, flash reports, and financial analyses.
- Act as a trusted sparring partner to the Site Manager, challenging assumptions and ensuring sound financial decision-making.
- Analyze financial results, identify variances, and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate and monitor annual budgeting and cost center planning processes.
- Prepare monthly cost center and profitability analyses and present insights to senior management.
- Monitor investments and support investment controlling activities.
- Support pricing, project calculations, business cases, and offer phase analyses.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business drivers.
- Identify financial risks and provide recommendations to management on their potential impact.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, month-end closing activities, and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate closely with Accounting and cross-functional teams to optimize financial and controlling processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, financial systems, and reporting tools.
- Proactively identify budget deviations and drive actions to protect profitability and cash flow.
- Contribute to achieving corporate goals by providing meaningful management information and financial insights.
Your Key Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in finance, controlling, or business partnering roles.
- Previous leadership experience with responsibility for managing and developing teams.
- Strong understanding of business administration, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly preferred.
- Experience in financial audit is considered an advantage.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Good knowledge of SAP and financial systems.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Fluent English skills; additional language skills are an asset.
