The opportunity

Downer Energy and Utilities is seeking a Site Coordinator to provide onsite coordination and operational administrative support across our project environments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth interaction between site based operational teams and our centralised Support Services Hub.

As the primary liaison, you will support operational teams by validating site information coordinating administrative requests and ensuring accurate documentation is submitted through the correct service channels. This role focuses on coordination validation and escalation rather than end to end transactional administration.

What we are looking for

You will bring experience working in operational or site-based environments such as construction utilities engineering or project delivery. You are organised detail focused and confident working with a range of stakeholders across operations and support services.

Key skills and experience include:

  • Experience supporting operational teams with coordination or administrative activities
    • Strong understanding of site based operations and project environments
    • Ability to validate documentation and workforce information for accuracy and completeness
    • Strong communication skills when working with supervisors crews and centralised support teams
    • Experience coordinating timesheets workforce documentation or site records
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate issues when required
    • Experience using service request or administrative systems is desirable
    • Relevant qualification in Business Administration Operations Coordination or a related field is desirable
