AM Engineer
About this role
We currently have an opportunity for an AM Engineer to join our Asset Management Hub team and play a key role in supporting the definition, ownership and continual improvement of asset management technical standards, processes and capability development. Reporting to the Sr. Asset Management and Engineering Specialist, you will help deliver high-quality outcomes that support essential services and strengthen asset management practice across complex stakeholder environments.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Support the establishment, implementation and maintenance of the SI&CS Asset Management Operating Model.
- Contribute to Asset Management technical standards, processes, risk and opportunity management and continual improvement culture.
- Assist with capability uplift through communities of practice, competency frameworks, mentoring and training alignment.
- Support Asset Management sustainability framework design, implementation and opportunity identification.
- Build collaborative relationships with AM Hub, BU and contract teams, clients and external asset management organisations.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, plus a tertiary qualification in Asset Management and Sustainability or similar experience.
- Experience in Asset Management and Asset Management Systems, including strategic asset management planning.
- Knowledge of ISO55000 aligned Asset Management systems, AM Operating Models, asset data capture and ongoing data management.
- Experience in government or commercial property and infrastructure, including an understanding of PPPs in an Asset Management context.
- Strong stakeholder management capability, with experience mentoring, training or supporting people to grow their Asset Management knowledge.
